Ways To Save
I'm fortunate to have a couple different good quality 'dollar stores' nearby, each of which have excellent bargains on certain items. Dryer sheets are very inexpensive, as is juice that is just as good as a famous brand from the grocery. It's not a savings if you have to use a lot of time & gas to find good deals, but having options near your home or other places you'll go anyway can really save you $. Another tip to shorten dryer time is to throw in a clean, dry towel with the wet items.
Laundry
Add 1 cup of ammonia to your laundry wash cycle and it helps clean stained clothes, or heavily soiled.
Wet Wipes
Buy decent paper towels and cut them in fours. Put baby lotion or baby oil in box and lay paper towels inside of box and let them soak for 12 hours. You now have more wet wipes.
Flies And Mosquitos
I keep skin so soft from avon in a spray bottle for my dogs ears. I spent too much money at vets trying to keep the flies from eating her ears. It also works as a mosquito repellent for animals and people. It really works!
Spiral Bulbs
I found them at Grocery Oulet store -- 4 for a $1.00.
Can't go wrong on that!
Hen Boxes
I shred all my junk mail and put in my hens boxes for them to lay eggs on! Haven't had a broken egg and it's cheaper than straw..
