Uses for Vinegar
I fill my mop bucket with a gallon of vinegar and put in my shower head, faucet ends, bathroom water cup, cat's water dish, anything that gets mineral build up from water. I sit the bucket in the sink and put the head of my kitchen sink sprayer in it to clean that. I leave it overnight and use that leftover vinegar and baking soda to clean all the drains in my house.

Save water
We made our own rain barrels. Many DIY sites have step-by-step instructions. We use old milk jugs to store water for cleaning, watering plants, etc. Next year we will use the rain barrels for our new garden. We put a timer for the exhaust fan in our bathroom. When the timer goes off you know it's time to get out. We have buckets next to our tubs & we catch the otherwise wasted water in the buckets waiting for the water to warm up & use it to flush our toilets.

hamburger
we buy our hamburger in the 10 lb tubes. Instead of making 10- 1lb bags, we stretch it to at least 11 bags of hamburger. This gives us an extra meal.
