Wrap foods in foil before putting them into a plastic freezer bag - cuts down on freezer burn
COOPER PANS
TO CLEAN THE BOTTOM OF A COOPER PAN: GET THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN WET, SPRINKLE A LITTLE SALT & THEN SPRINKLE A LITTLE LEMON JUICE. USE A LITTLE ELBOW GREASE. AMAZING HOW SHINY & CLEAN THE BOTTOM OF THE PAN BECOMES.
Reuse
Oh please don't use your plastic shopping bags for trash! They do not break down and lay in landfills. While it seems a good idea it's really not. Turn them back into the store when you return, use them again for shopping or switch to tote bags (all of mine I got for FREE here and there).
Electric Bill
Make sure you know everything about the program. I was on it and when I went off I had to pay all at one time the difference in my savings and it was alot so ask before you do it.
Keeping Tile scum free in shower
After I clean my shower tile and let it dry I use cheap car wax and the water runs off and it lasts about 6 months can use on glass shower doors also.
To Dry Shoes
Place wet shoes on their side, with opening towards refrigerator. The warm air will dry them overnight.
Dog
Buy a dog potty instead of dog potty pads.You can put newspapers in it.It saves on money if you use it for awhile.Plus the dog cant rip up the pad and make a mess.You can rinse the plastic bottom off with bleach.It has a plastic grate to step on, you put the newspapers underneath.
Wet Shoes
Dry soaking wet shoes by stuffing them with crumpled up newspaper overnight. The next day, they're dry as toast. Sprinkle cornstarch power in them if they smell.
